Help me climb Mt. Rainier!
Most people know someone who has faced the challenges presented by asthma, COPD, lung cancer, or air pollution. Perhaps it's a nephew or a grandmother or a husband. The chances are, you know someone personally affected. For me, it’s a little different. I may not know them personally, but as a first responder, I meet people every day who are dealing with the challenges of lung-related issues; champions who fight for every breath they take.
I help people when the need arises, it's what I've been called to do, but I also feel the call to push my body and my mind in ways that perhaps others cannot. For me, reaching the summit of a mountain is a celebration of the beauty of our earth, of life in general, and of discovering what the human body is capable of. In joining the Climb for Clean Air, and in turn, supporting the American Lung Association, my hope is that more people will be able to push their own personal summits higher, free of the restraints of lung-related challenges. I climb for the American Lung Association so that doctors and researchers can receive the resources they need in order for fewer people to suffer from lung complications at all.
By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Lung Association provide community-based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards, and fund life-saving research. With your help, we will fight against lung disease and for lung health. We will be making a positive difference for all of the parents who have a child with asthma, the people who struggle daily with COPD and the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, and friends who get diagnosed with lung cancer.
Every donation I receive helps make a bigger impact. Please help support my effortst to save lives, donate now.
Together we can fight lung disease successfully!
