My Newest Challenge……
For those who know me, my life revolves around the outdoors -- more specifically -- Mt. Hood. I have a passion for the mountain, and no words can describe how full of life I feel from being there. That’s why I have chosen my next challenge -- the number one item on my Bucket List – summiting Mt. Hood on May 31, 2019!
A Cherished Breath
My two hiking buddies, Karen and Sherri, are just as passionate about the outdoors as I am. We hike, walk and ride bikes. Yet their challenge is one I’ll never know – asthma. They continue to live life to the fullest in spite of the asthma. And from them I have a greater appreciation of the ability to take a breath whenever and wherever I wish.
I need your help
We need the American Lung Association, and they need us. I’m excited to be a part of Climb for Clean Air and to be raising $4,000. I’m also excited to give you the opportunity to help me be successful in my challenge. Any amount of contribution will be gratefully accepted; however, everyone who donates $100 or more will receive a 5x7 photo from the summit of Mt Hood. Mind you, I’ll be in it so that right there is refrigerator material for $100!!
You can make a donation two ways: 1) send me a check (made out to the American Lung Association) or 2) donate here, on the right...just that simple. And all contributions are tax-deductible!
Send checks to:
8002 NE Hwy 99, Suite B, PMB 238
Vancouver, WA 98665
PS – I have until May 31 to get my $4,000 goal met. Thank you for helping me and the American Lung Association.
