Let’s make sure everyone can benefit from improving lung health and preventing lung disease - TOGETHER!
I’m in training to climb to 14,410 ft — the summit of Mt. Rainier, July 2019 for the first time ever.
This journey is extremely important to both me and others around the country. It's imperative to raise support for people with lung disease, cancer, asthma or other lung issues and I need your help!
I'm giving my time, lungs, and personal donations to the effort to support education for those living with Asthma, lung cancer, COPD, and fighting external threats such as tobacco and air pollution.
- My Husband's dad has COPD and has been told he will pass away this year from the disease.
- My Neighbor Diane has COPD and her husband still smokes around her.
- A dear friend of mine, Connie, passed from lung cancer several years back and she never smoked.
- Friends I've met through ALA have been impacted personally by lung issues.
ALA educates, provides research, and supports many living with lung issues. Please, join me; sign up to climb, bike, or donate to the ALA.
Chances are you know someone who has faced the challenges of asthma, COPD, lung cancer or air pollution. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Lung Association provide community based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research. With your help, we will fight against lung disease and for lung health. We will be making a positive difference for all of the parents who have a child with asthma, the people who struggle daily with COPD and the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and friends who get diagnosed with lung cancer.
Every donation received for ALA helps make a bigger impact. Please help support the efforts to save lives, donate ANY amount at all! All donations go directly to the American Lung Association to fight what my friend Connie, father in law, neighbor, and many others have faced. Only together we can do this!
Together we can fight against lung disease successfully!
