Hello and thanks for checking out my page. My name is Sean Foster and over the past year I have raised over 18,000 for American Lung Association in support of the Climb for Clean Air program, but I'm not done yet.
I am continuing to fundraise for Climb for Clean Air because it pairs people who are impacted by lung disease with a dedicated team of guides and trainers to help them realize fundraising and mountaineering goals that they may have never thought were possible. My love for mountaineering has been a major reason for me to prioritize my own lung health and the impact that lung disease has had on my family is a major reason for which I am proud to help raise money for the American Lung Association
Last year -with the help of many others- I was one of the highest individual fundraisers in CFCA, exceeding my fundraising goal and successfully summitting Mt. Kilimanjaro - the tallest free-standing mountain in the world - in honor of my Grandma, Virginia Foster.
This year, I am returning to fundraising for ALA because the work isn't done! This year, I'm raising money in honor of my Father who is still kicking and thankfully now free from lung cancer!
Throughout my entire life my family has been impacted by lung disease. I have lost numerous family members to lung diseases and I have members of my family currently dealing with lung disease and its complications. Fundraising to help the American Lung Association continue their critical advocacy, research, and treatment for people dealing with lung disease is just one small way I am able to contribute to the ongoing fight against lung disease.
I'm doing the Climb for Clean Air to challenge myself and to support people with lung disease who have to fight for every breath. I'm climbing for a healthier future, for vital COVID-19 research and for clean-air focused environmental work. Through groundbreaking research, advocacy, education, and direct treatment, the money we raise will provide lifesaving care and dramatically improve the quality of life for more than 36 million Americans diagnosed with lung disease.
Please donate to the Climb for Clean Air and be part of making a difference in the lives of lung disease patients, their families, and their caregivers. Every donation takes us one step closer to a world free of lung disease. The need is urgent, so please join me today and help us save more lives. Every day, every minute, and every second counts. Thank you for your support.
