Dr. Lee was educated at the Kamehameha Schools and graduated from the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine, where he is part of the faculty. He is triple board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease.
It means a lot to him to be able to give back to his underserved Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities. He is part of the team at the Queen’s Pulmonary and Critical Care Group, where he practices compassionate, evidence-based medicine, and patient-centered care with aloha.
He is driven to make a difference in the world, starting with his patients’ lives and well-being. He wants his patients to view him as a physician who they can trust and feel comfortable with, and a health partner who embodies the aloha spirit and the Queen Emma Way.
"Lung health is important to me because it has directly impacted my 'ohana (family), in terms of tobacco smoking and lung cancer. Lung health is also important to me because it is a vital part of my job, and my focus is to ensure the health and well being of all of my pulmonary patients and their families too."
