Today, I am a lung transplant survivor. I have a new lease on life, thanks to my donor and the amazing team of doctors, nurses, and coordinators who made it possible. They saved my life. They gave me a second chance. They are my heroes.
But I know I am one of the lucky ones. There are many people who are still waiting for a transplant, or who are suffering from lung diseases that have no cure. They need our help. They need our support. They need our awareness. That is why I am participating in the Lung Force Walk, a nationwide event that raises funds and awareness for lung health. I am walking for myself, for my donor, for my family, and for all the men, women, and children who are fighting for their breath.
I invite you to join me in this walk. Walk with me to raise awareness of my rare PVOD lung disease, my girlfriend fighting lung cancer and friends who have passed on. You can register online, donate, or volunteer. You can also share your story, or the story of someone you love, who has been affected by lung disease. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can inspire hope. Together, we are WARRIORS!
I would greatly appreciate your support.
Thank you!
