I now understand how silently and quickly lung cancer destroys! And I have certainly felt the devastating impact.  Lung cancer is a silent killer! We thought Elaine had pneumonia, when she got the diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer! She heroically fought for 41 days before the battle was lost. Needless to say, this was the most devastating time of our lives, and it is why I am dedicated to do whatever I can to provide greater awareness, earlier detection, and better treatments for lung cancer!  Believe me, If this happened to us, it can happen to anyone
