Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of both men and women. Every day, 649 people are diagnosed with lung cancer. On March 1, 2023, I was unfortunately one of those people. At 35, having never smoked a day in my life. On March 30, 2023, I had surgery to have the upper lobe of my right lung removed.

If it weren't for the incredible, truly life-saving work of the American Lung Association, I likely wouldn't have found this cancer until it was late stage. 

Please join me and my team at this year's Jacksonville LUNG FORCE Run/Walk to help make a difference in the lives of those impacted by lung cancer and lung disease. Being a part of LUNG FORCE is about supporting those in need and saving lives, just like mine, by funding innovative research and early detection initiatives.

My goal is to walk the 5K and I would love for you to walk with me. Together we can turn small steps into bold strides toward a world free of lung cancer and lung disease.
