Hello friends and colleagues. Amazing to think this will be my 5th year supporting The American Lung Association through the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk 5K.
As you know I have made serving this great non-profit organization my personal mission in memory of my Dad, Lewis W. Fisher Jr. who passed away May 10th, 2014 from COPD I have aligned my mission in life help others facing daily challenges of COPD and other lung diseases. On Saturday, May 13 I will participate in the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk 5K in beautiful Baldwin Park.
What you may not know is on November 5, 2022, I was preparing to walk in honor of my dad at the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk in Atlanta. At 3:18 AM, my phone rang with the devastating news that my mother, Wanda Fisher, had passed away in her sleep. I dedicated that walk to my mother and will continue to do so with every event I participate in.
I proudly serve as The Vice Chairman of the Southeast Board for the American Lung Association plus I am the Past Chairman of The Board and still a member of The Central Florida Leadership Board in Orlando.
The funds raised will help provide patient education, support research and advocacy efforts for everyone living with lung disease including COPD, lung cancer and asthma.
Please consider donating today. Every dollar I raise moves us forward in our fight for healthy lungs and clean air - help me get a step closer to my fundraising goal!
Thank you for your support
Blessings,
Eddie Fisher
