As you likely know, I was diagnosed with lung cancer this year and had a large portion of my right lung removed. My diagnosis took a long time because I don't fit the typical profile for lung cancer because I've never smoked and don't have most the 'risk factors' however, 1 in 17 American women will be diagnosed with Lung Cancer in her lifetime, and many of us never smoked.
