Thank you for visiting my LUNG FORCE Leaders Fundraising page. I'm here to make a difference in the lives of people, just like me, impacted by lung cancer and lung disease.
In October of 2019, my life was changed forever when I was diagnosed with stage 2B Adenocarcinoma lung cancer at just 60 years old. I had a lobectomy followed by four months of chemotherapy, but I am proud to say that I am officially celebrating 4 years in remission this month!
My lung cancer was discovered as an incidental finding in stage 2b, but too often, many lung cancer patients are diagnosed in late stage 4 when the disease becomes harder to treat. Were it not for an "early diagnosis", and the support of my amazing medical team at Memorial Cancer Institute, I know I might not be here
I am now passionate about raising awareness about lung cancer screening because I know I am living proof of early detection.
Being a part of LUNG FORCE is about supporting those in need and saving lives by funding innovative research and early detection initiatives.
I would greatly appreciate your support in joining me in this effort.
As a LUNG FORCE Leader, I am honored to be leading the charge, while competing against my fellow LUNG FORCE leaders!
Every donation today brings me closer to being named the Light the Way LUNG FORCE Leader Champion, a title that earns me recognition at the Sunset Soiree gala on June 7, and most importantly, it helps bring us closer to a world free of lung cancer.
Thank you in advance for being generous.
Sincerely,
Stacey
