Lung disease is a cause that is close to my heart. After losing my mother to lung cancer, I knew I wanted to do more in my community to promote lung health and drive awareness to this important cause.
I have been lucky to serve the American Lung Association’s mission in many capacities. I sit on our local board, and once again I am on the committee for the LUNG FORCE Sunset Soiree to support our awareness and fundraising efforts to fight this devastating disease.
Every year lung cancer takes more lives than any other cancer in this country, more than breast, prostate, and colon cancer combined, yet only 28% of individuals cite lung cancer as being a top of mind concern. We’re on a mission to change the outcome of lung cancer in our country, and I need your help to reach my goal!
The funds I raise will help provide patient education, research, advocacy efforts, and support programs for individuals living with lung disease.
