Join us for the 2024 South Florida LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover!
This year LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover falls on the week of May 6 - 12, and we need YOU to help turn the town TURQUOISE!
During Turquoise Takeover Week you can play a vital role as an Ambassador by participating in our many Spirit Week activities, hosting your own Turquoise Takeover fundraising event with your coworkers or friends & family, registering as a LUNG FORCE Hero (as a lung cancer survivor or a loved one of someone impacted by lung cancer), or even organizing your own Turquoise Takeover Run/Walk.
The LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover provides critical funds for lifesaving research, early detection initiatives, and local/ online support programs.
Register today and YOU can help make a difference in your community. By registering you are committing to becoming a lung health advocate via participating in the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk, Light the Way Luminary Procession and/or becoming a Turquoise Takeover Ambassador.
Every Dollar You Donate Today Will Be Matched!
Help us unlock the match!
Local sponsors will be supporting a meaningful Matching Gift Challenge, designed to inspire community members and double the dollars raised by our Ambassadors! This match will help us get that much closer to a lung cancer-free for all families impacted by this devastating disease.
Tito's Handmade Vodka and additional sponsors have committed to being a force against lung cancer. Every dollar raised for this campaign, from now until June 30th, will be matched 1:1.
We ask you to join this historical movement in the fight against lung cancer by becoming a Turquoise Takeover Ambassador and/or making a contribution to the Matching Gift Challenge today!
DID YOU KNOW: Every dollar we raise, 90 cents goes right back to support local research and provide education and patient programs to help the 37 million Americans impacted by lung disease and lung cancer, the #1 cancer-related death in this country.
Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.
Why We're Hopeful
More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
