I am walking for my Aunt Karen. She was one of my best friends in life. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung Cancer on March 9th 2019 and died 11 days later. She had no chance when she was diagnosed to try to fight this.
I think about her every single day.I miss our daily talks on the phone. I miss her crazy sense of humor. I miss the time she had with my son. 53 years was not enough time for her. If the medical/insurance industry would recognize that we need early detection tests for lung cancer then millions of people would still be alive.
Together, with your help, we will walk to raise awareness and funds to defeat lung cancer and raise our voices for lung health.
That's why I have decided to participate in the LUNG FORCE Walk. When you join the American Lung Association and LUNG FORCE, you support research innovation that will lead to early detection for all and better treatments that give everyone a fighting chance.
Your donation and participation will help make a difference in the lives that desperately need it.
To support my efforts, and to help save lives today, please donate now.
We will stand together for lung health and against lung cancer.
