Small Steps, Bold Strides

Join us and turn small steps into bold strides toward a world without lung cancer and lung disease at this year’s LUNG FORCE Walk - Hudson Valley! Same walk, new name.

It doesn't matter how you roll, whether you like to saunter, power-walk or stroll. There's a Walk Your Way virtual option for those who can't make it to the event.

The LUNG FORCE Walk provides critical funds for lifesaving research, early detection initiatives, and awareness outreach to vulnerable communities.

Come out and experience the celebratory and welcoming atmosphere of a LUNG FORCE event that brings together the whole Hudson Valley. And it’s more than a Walk!

  • Visit our Mission Tents (link to day of event details) to sign a petition promoting lung health in your community, snap a selfie for social media, pay tribute to those living with lung disease and lives lost and more.
  • Recognize community leaders in lung health.
  • Hear inspirational stories from LUNG FORCE Heroes and Champions
  • Create a sea of turquoise and compete for the Best Turquoise Outfit prize!
  • Entertain the whole family - stop by our Kids Zone, play lawn games on the grass, visit our balloon artist and more!

Register today and save your spot. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this year's event.

      Why We Need You

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.

      Why We're Hopeful

More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
