Join us in the fresh air for this year’s LUNG FORCE Walk.
We're coming together safely and responsibly to make a difference in the lives of people with lung cancer and lung disease.
Where: Franklin Park Zoo - Zebra Entrance

Time: Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and the Walk will commence at 9:30 AM.
Parking: Parking is FREE and available at the Zebra Entrance parking lot between Franklin Park Rd and Blue Hill Ave (Peabody Circle) or the parking lot on Circuit Drive/N. Jewish War Vets Dr. See event map HERE.
Masks (updated): Per CDC guidance, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated people in public spaces. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, to ensure the safety of our immune-compromised participants and volunteers, masks are required in official event spaces when in close proximity to other attendees. If you are fully vaccinated and still would like to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so.
Mandatory Health Screening: All participants, volunteers and staff must pass a health screening questionnaire no more than 24 hours prior to entering the Franklin Park Zoo. A link to the screening will be live on the event website and sent via text on Friday. Proof of completion will be required to enter the event. You are encouraged to use a cell phone to take the online screening, and take a screenshot of your passing results. Note: adult guardians can take the screening on behalf of minor participants.
What to bring: Bring any remaining donations to turn in at check-in. We’ll have light refreshments and music at the event.
Distance: There are 2 options available: 1 lap (approximately 1.5 miles) or 2 laps (approximately 3 miles).
Inclement weather: The Walk will be held rain or shine.

*Participants who raise $100 or more will receive a signature LUNG FORCE Walk t-shirt, and anyone who raises $150 or more qualifies for additional incentives. Check them out HERE! The official fundraising deadline to earn incentives and awards is Friday, July 2.

LUNG FORCE Walks are the American Lung Association's signature outdoor event series to support and promote lung health. The Walks and Run/Walks provide critical funds for lifesaving research and early detection.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced all of us to reimagine how we come together and rally around important causes like lung cancer awareness and research funding.
No matter how we come together during this time—masked and spatially distant or virtually — we will do so in a spirit of hope and generosity to support those carrying the heavy burden of lung cancer and lung disease.
