Papa Ed, suffers from chronic lung issues. Some days are better than others, but each day he fights a brave battle that I’m not sure I could. In recent years, he fought and overcame COVID and rebound followed by a hospitalization for a COPD exacerbation with little lung reserve to work with. Papa Ed is so many things to our family . He is a sports enthusiast;a one time boat captain;a veteran;a master pizza maker;a bowling champ; a patient builder of toys, puzzles and science fair projects;a karaoke singer, and a retired neighborhood electrician. He is our dad, papa, uncle, brother, husband and friend. Above all, he is a fighter. This year we completed The Lung Force Walk in honor of him
