Du’Juan Copeland aka Mr. Cocohead, a nickname lovingly given to him by his students, made a difference. DuJuan was a Service Warrior. He served two years with AmeriCorps City Year Detroit Corps and be spent his last years serving at the YMCA Storer Camp near Jackson, MI.
He worked hard and loved with an open heart.
It is impossible to calculate the impact that he had on his communities, because each person he came in contact with was changed for the better.
DuJuan battled chronic asthma his whole life. We lost DuJuan the day after Thanksgiving 2018.
Now it’s time to celebrate his life and everything he gave to make the world a better place by walking in the Lung Force Walk!
