Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page.
If you know me, you know that I LOVE running. Also, if you know me, you know that I was diagnosed with lung cancer on Halloween, 2019. Twelve days later, I had the superior (upper) lobe of my left lung removed. I have never smoked. I have run dozens of marathons. I have cycled for years. Lung cancer does not discriminate. Sometimes, it just happens. My surgeon told me that, because I was in good shape and the cancer was caught early, my recovery was going to be quick and complete. I am lucky. I am back to running and I am fundraising and running a half marathon in support of the American Lung Association LUNG FORCE Run / Walk. If you would like to support me, please follow the link. If you cannot, please send me some positive thoughts the weekend of June 20th.
Our collective efforts will help raise awareness and funds to protect lung health.
Your donation and participation, will help support the American Lung Association's research innovation, which leads to early detection for all and better treatments that give everyone a fighting chance.
To support my efforts, and to help save lives, please donate now.
Be a part of the FORCE to defeat lung cancer and lung disease one step at a time.
