On April 10th, 2018 my grandfather, Clark McMillen, was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors found two massive spots on his lungs. I remember this day like it was yesterday, as it was the day that my families life changed forever. He was married to my grandmother, Brenda, for 51 years. If you know these two, you know that the are the definition of true love. He was an amazing father to my mom, Stephanie, and my uncle, Darrin. He was the best grandpa myself, Johnathon, Emersyn, and Delaney could’ve asked for. Him and grandma never missed any event that the grandkids had and they were our biggest supporters through everything. He was a Disney lover and some of our favorite memories are of him wearing his Mickey ears. His faith was strong and there is no doubt in our minds that he is in Heaven looking down on us, proud as ever. We miss him everyday, and me and my family have decided to do this walk to make sure no one else has to lose someone as special as my grandpa was to us. My grandpa always used to say “nothing a million dollars wouldn’t fix” but for now I think we’ll start with a small goal of 200$. We appreciate your donations and would be excited if you decided to join us on our walk.
To support my efforts, and to help save lives today, please donate now.
We will stand together for lung health and against lung cancer!
