**I am now one of Sherry's Angels fighting her battle in the actual physical fight. I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in July 2020. I am currently in treatment and looking forward to the 100 years my oncology promised me. My cancer is very common and easy to treat. Please join my warrior team and prayer for swift remission.
Our involvement in the Lung Force walk started 3 years ago when my Mom Sherry Bowman was fighting COPD and had spent a significant amount of time in the hospital and sent home on hospice. She spent a year recovering and even got kicked out of hospice! Then came the Lung cancer diagnosis in August 2017. She got her angel wings and is breathing easy as of November 2017. The first year we walked was in her honor and she was so proud. Now we walk in her memory and I know she is still so proud. We miss her so much and hope raising funds for research will give someone else a longer life to enjoy!
