As many of you know, my professional life revolves around caring for patients with lung cancer, and I have a specific passion for lung cancer screening, early detection, and eliminating disparities in access to lung cancer screening and lung cancer care through advocacy and policy change. I also want to use my platform to help dispel some of the myths and stigma surrounding lung cancer, and to encourage everyone at risk to get screened for lung cancer. I also hope to share my optimism surrounding available treatments for lung cancer. I enjoy working with the American Lung Association as a board member and chose to support the organization because of their impactful work in research, screening, and advocacy.
