February 19, 2022, Ron Weuve left this earth after an extremely short battle with cancer. His health took a turn for the worse and was able to get home to Iowa where we passed surrounded by his family. The cancer had invaded his lungs and various other vital organs. We will walk in Ron's memory in June.
We are also walking in memory of our sister Andrea, brother Denny, Uncle Frank, Cousin Lloyd, Grandpa Lyle, Mary Fincham and Leland Houston. We also walk in memory of our friends Tim Clark and Nicole Turner Olson. We walk for Dawnell Vaughn and Dave Treece who are double lung transplant survivors. We also walk in honor of our beautiful sister Sue, friends Sandi and Guyla.
We will walk in memory of our friend Robert LaMay who lost his life to COVID. As well as all those who have lost their lives to the COVID19 virus and in honor of those who have recovered.
We are a force to be reckoned with. Only A Force of Many Can Stand Up To:
* the frightening rise of lung cancer in women
* the deadly disease that is COPD
* the daily challenges that asthma sufferers face
* pollution that threatens our lungs and our lives
With your participation and help, our LUNG FORCE Walk will make a difference in lives that desperately need it. Register today, because now is the time to raise our voices against lung cancer--and for lung health.
