This year we dedicate our participation in the 2021 Lung Force walk in memory of Nicole Turner-Olsen who lost her battle with Pulmonary Hypertension on October 28, 2020. Nicole was placed on the UW double lung transplant list on October 9, 2020. Nicole was a fighter to the end, and her heart put up a fight for 29 years. She was deeply loved by her family and friends.
We also walk in memory of our sister Andrea Densley who lost her battle with cancer on July 16, 2020. Our brother Denny who had a short battle with Lung cancer in 2018. Our friend Tim Clark who lost his 2 year battle with lung cancer on January 8, 2019. We walk for Dawnell Vaughn who is a double lung transplant survivor. We also walk in honor of our beautiful sister Sue, friends Sandi and friend Guyla. We walk in memory of Uncle Frank, Cousin Lloyd, Grandpa Lyle, Mary Fincham and Leland Houston.
We will walk in memory of all those who have lost their lives to the COVID19 virus and in memory of those who have recovered.
We are a force to be reckoned with. Only A Force of Many Can Stand Up To:
* the frightening rise of lung cancer in women
* the deadly disease that is COPD
* the daily challenges that asthma sufferers face
* pollution that threatens our lungs and our lives
With your participation and help, our LUNG FORCE Walk will make a difference in lives that desperately need it. Register today, because now is the time to raise our voices against lung cancer--and for lung health.
