Valerie Davison, WELCOA Certified Faculty, was inspired to help the Lung Association for her sister, Eleanor Grace, who passed away from non-small cell lung cancer. She helped instill strength and positivity among fellow cancer fighters and supporters. To carry on her legacy, Valerie works with the Lung Association to provide hope for people with lung cancer and other respiratory diseases so they can live and thrive!
Valerie leads the UHA Health Insurance workplace department to execute and promote health and wellness for Hawaiʻi businesses and communities. She brings an enthusiasm for living a healthy, holistic life along with a background in human resources management, marketing, and workplace wellness. From a career ranging in industries including hospital, restaurant and hospitality, she joined UHA Health Insurance in 2009. She enjoys an active role in the community serving as Leadership Board Member, Vice-Chair for the American Lung Association and Advisory for Healthy Hawaiʻi Strategic Plan (HHSP).
