Pedro is the Executive Director at the American Lung Association in Hawaii. For 16 years, he has led successful public health campaigns for a multitude of organizations. In 2019, he was named one of Pacific Business News Class of 40 under 40. He is a proud graduate of Lahainaluna High School on Maui.
Troy has been a marketing & communications leader in Hawaii for over 15 years. As the former director of marketing for Hawaii News Now, he led the brand and marketing initiatives for the state’s largest local broadcast media organization. He is currently the Program Associate at the Hawaii Leadership Forum. Troy has received various awards, including from the Associated Press and multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards.
Together, Troy and Pedro have worked on communications and advocacy activities to improve our community, including on tobacco cessation, mental health, long-term care assistance, and sexual assault prevention.
They are raising funds for the American Lung Association on behalf of Mrs. Linda Siruno, a lung cancer survivor and Troy’s mom.
