Thank you for visiting my page. I"m participating in the LUNG FORCE walk in Pittsburgh on Saturday, April 27th.

My mom, Patti Lego, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer with a mass on her right lung. She started Chemo earlier in February and will undergo three doses over the next two months. They will then schedule surgery to remove part of her lung along with the cancer and hopefully she will remain cancer free! It is non-small cell cancer so has not spread beyond her lung at this point and we are grateful that it was caught early and is treatable.

Lung cancer runs in my Mom's family, as her brother and my Uncle, Russ Cipriani died from Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer nearly 10 years ago in his 50's
