Hi Friends and Family, this is Sue McCarthy announcing the 2024 Lung Force Walk, and inviting you to participate and donate to the cause! Here’s to another great year for Sue’s Prayer Army!

Lung Cancer remains the leading cause of all cancer deaths.  But, the GOOD NEWS is that more Americans than ever before are surviving the disease. The dramatic increase is in the last five years, from 13% to 22.6%.

I feel so fortunate to let you know that I am now officially one of those survivors. Remaining cancer-free for five years after a cancer diagnosis and treatment is the standard, and in June 2023 I was officially cured!

This is our 5th Lung Force Walk, and this year’s goal for the Prayer Army is to raise enough to have raised a total of $10,000 in five years.

Let’s do it!  Keep going strong! Thank you to all you faithful Army members!
