Lenny Saul was not a man of many words, but the words he spoke came from wisdom, love and laughter. Married almost 48 years to his wife Anita, together they had two daughters, Lani Marie and Dayna, two son in laws, Dave and Steve, and triplet granddaughters Angelina Rose, Milani Marie and Gianna Hope and predeceased by his Grandson Giovanni Michael. He loved spending time with his family and was a generous and loving man. He was originally from Brooklyn, New York, eventually moving to Middle Village, Queens, Staten Island, and Manalapan, New Jersey.
Lenny loved cars, especially Chevys (Camaros and Corvettes) and loved to watched the Barrett Jackson Car Show. He could often be found listening to rock music, working out, playing paddle ball, doing karate and playing cards, especially poker. He was a big Jets fan. Lenny also loved The Godfather and The Honeymooners. He went to Brooklyn Tech High School and graduated from Hofstra University. He was extremely smart and even skipped a grade in school. He started his career as an accountant at Bohack in Queens, New York but ended his career as the CFO at New Alternatives For Children (NAC) in New York City where they started with a budget, before incorporation, of $25,000. Over his 30+ years as CFO he turned NAC into a $35,000,000 company. He leaves behind a legacy. He was smart, talented and successful.
Finding out he had lung cancer was a shock to all as he was a non smoking healthy man. His passing was unexpected and quick. Lenny touched lives of many, some of which he probably barely knew. He will be missed greatly.
I would greatly appreciate your support. Your donation today turns small steps into bold strides toward a world free of lung cancer and lung disease.
Thank you.
