My mother, Janis Hilyard, died from COPD. She was active and busy but suffered with COPD for many years, first robbing her of her ability to walk unassisted, then on O2, then eventually, into a nursing home til the end. She was feisty and beautiful and I miss her more than I can say. Each day without her has been just a little less bright. And during the covid-19 crisis I missed being able to talk to her about my fears.
No one will ever love me like my mom did!
