Hello & Thank you for visiting my LUNG FORCE team page.

I formed this team, Donna's Journey, to make a difference in the lives of people, such as myself, who have been impacted by lung cancer and lung disease.

Being a part of LUNG FORCE is about supporting those in need and saving lives by funding innovative research and early detection initiatives.

I am a living example of the benefits of early detection! I have had two separate lung cancer diagnosis' and both were early stage. When this disease is caught early - we have more treatment options. I am currently living with my full left lung and 25% of my right lung. Because the cancer was discovered in the early stages, I was a candidate for surgery. There are also additional treatment options available now that weren't available to me during my first diagnosis in 2015. This is because of research funded by donations like yours!

I stand here in better physical shape than before I had my right upper lobectomy in 2015. It is possible to be in good health, even with a lung condition.
