On September 27, 2015, my life changed forever. I went from feeling complete to in a blink of an eye feeling lost and broken. After winning her battle to lung cancer in 2008, we felt like we were in the clear. Our hopes and dreams quickly vanished when we heard the words, "terminal” 7 years later. My Mom no longer had the strength to fight this vicious illness that would take her life here on earth.
We participate to help raise awareness and in hope of one day soon finding a cure. We have now gained a beautiful angel that watches over us in the heavens above and we believe that she sees all that is being done in her honer. #teampetrita
