I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.

I saw lung disease take my friend Debbie Olson Rizzo's breath away, leaving her unable to work, exercise and eventually it took her life. She is my hero in the way she faced this terrible disease. Lung disease is growing faster than almost any other major illness, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
