3 days of cycling totalling 180 miles will be a challenge physically and mentally, as I've experienced chronic asthma for over 50 years. I have a great support team of family and friends that encourage me to take part in adventures, trainings, and events. Most of my rides, I have a SAG available for any needs, friends who distract me with stories and laughter as we tackle hills and changing terrain. It takes a village to not succumb to this disease but instead I choose to thrive and be active in daily life. I am truly greatful for all my cheerleaders and supporters.
I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
