I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
My best friend, Clarissa Wolcott, who just happened to be my grandmother, died from lung cancer. I spent all my summers, vacations, and weekends with my gram. She sent me to drivers school and taught me how to drive a standard. She would take me fishing upta camp on Moosehead Lake. She taught me how to cook but took all her recipes with her. When my mother told me no, I'd call my grandmother and she'd be there within a half an hour. It's been 26 years since she passed and I miss her every single day.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for your support!
