For my bar mitzvah project, I have decided to raise money for the American Lung Association. This is important to me because my grandmother passed away from lung cancer in 2020. The environment and air quality is also something that I feel strongly about and try to improve by biking to school every day instead of relying on gas powered vehicles.
I would like to captain a team of bikers in the "Cycle the Seacoast" campaign to ride 25 miles in support of the 36 million Americans suffering from lung diseases, like COPD, asthma and lung cancer — the #1 cancer killer in the United States. As a cyclist, I know how important it is to have healthy lungs and clean air to breathe. By joining me and hundreds of others for Cycle the Seacoast, you’ll be supporting:
- Life-saving research
- Education for patients and families
- Advocacy for clean air and protection from harmful air pollution
The in-person event is happening on Sunday, May 1st 2022 at Cisco Brewers Portsmouth. Event parking is located a short distance away at Sig Sauer (72 Pease Blvd. Newington, NH).
Will you be part of the solution? Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by biking with me, making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation, or all of the above!
Thank you in advance for you support!
