Dear friends and family:
In mid-June, The Trek Across Maine will be celebrating its 40th anniversary. I will once again be planting my butt in a bike seat for 180 miles over 3 days to help raise money for the American Lung Association and its research and education efforts.
I could say that I am doing this strictly to support the organization, but it is also one of my favorite weekends of the year. I get to spend the 3 days with my good friend Barry Wight and the Sebago Brewing Team we have met along the way.
Speaking of fund raising, this is the part where I get to beg for donations. The Trek is a big fund raisers for the American Lung Association. It is your opportunity to help support their fight against a variety of lung diseases and support my fight against becoming a couch potato. I've put in about sixty miles of training so far with many more to go before the Father's Day weekend ride.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
Tom
