Dear friends and family:
Once again I am preparing for the annual Trek Across Maine. This is the 180 mile bicycle trek to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. After two years off for COVID, we got back in the saddle last year for another wonderful 3-day adventure. I could have done without the cold rain on the last day, but it wasn't enough to deter me from doing it again. I'm looking forward to this year's 180 mile adventure with my good friend Barry Wight and the friends we've made on the road.
Now for the part where I get to my annual beg for donations. The Trek is one of the largest fund raisers for the American Lung Association, and your opportunity to help me support their fight against a variety of lung diseases. It also gets my butt off the couch and on the pavement. I've put in about eighty miles of training so with many more to go before the Father's Day weekend ride.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
Tom
