This June I am joining thousands of other cyclists in my first Trek Across Maine. I am riding to raise money to fight lung disease and increase the awareness about the importance of lung health. Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
I am also riding in honor of my dad, Rich McNinch, who passed away unexpectedly last September. He was extremely passionate about cycling and shared that love with nearly everyone he met.The Trek is over Father’s Day weekend and I can’t think of a better way to honor his memory than riding through the beautiful state of Maine for a great cause on his tandem bike.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for your support and pedal on!
