In June of 2024, I will join many cyclists the 180 mile ride for the American Lung Association. As a health care worker I will ride to raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. As I ride I'm blessed that I can breath, as many with lung disease struggle to go from bed to chair.
I have watched as Covid 19 has damaged the lungs of healthy patients and left them with long term effects. Lung cancer has affected close family members and taken them was too soon.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation. This will be my 16th year riding my bike in the TREK for American Lung.
I ride because I can, I have healthy lungs. Again this year I will ride for the Mid Coast-Parkview Health Team. I look forward to our volunteers who cheer us on, supply us with snacks and all the friendly people that come out to wave to us.
Thank you for your support to the America Lung Association.
