In June of 2022, I will join many cyclists the 180 mile ride for the American Lung Association. As a health care worker I will ride to raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. As I ride I'm blessed that I can breath, as many with lung disease struggle to go from bed to chair.
My mom had MAC a lung infection that damaged her lungs 18 years ago. Over the past 2 years I have watched as Covid 19 has damaged the lungs of healthy patients and left them with long term effects.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation. This will be my 14th year riding my bike in TREK for American Lung.
I ride because I can and I have healthy lungs. Again this year I will ride for the Mid Coast-Parkview Health Team. The TREK this year will be back to inperson ride and we have a new route and places to see. I look forward to our volunteers who cheer us on, supply us with snacks and all the friendly people that come out to wave to us. A vertual option is avaible for those that need it.
Thank you for your support to the America Lung Association.
