I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.  This is my 8th year riding.  I not only support with my own money, all of my riding training and event time, I am a committee member.  That demonstrates my committment to the organization!  ALA does great work.  We all need to breath!

Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.  The ALA donated over $25 million to Covid initiatives. They also support patient advacocy, lung disease research and advocate heavily for clean air legislation.
