Hi folks! I'm at it again riding for my third time with the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease. I started cycling in 2019 to prepare for the 50-mile Cycle the Seacoast event in New Hampshire. The next year when I moved to Maine I signed up for my first Trek where designed my own ride route from Ellsworth to Gouldsboro. This ride had its own unique set of lessons to learned and accomplishments acheived over a solo ride of around 30 miles during the first year of pandemic. This year I'm VERY excited to participate in the in-person Trek with support from amazing friends and volunteers to finish 100 miles in two days!
My grandfather, David Dodgin, lost his life due to lung cancer and want to once again dedicate this ride to him. Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and support!
