I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Lung cancer stole the life of my sister-in-law and fellow Trek Across Maine participant, Wendy, in January 2022 at the young age of 61.
As I did in 2022, I am dedicating this year's ride to Wendy, whose memory lives fondly in many of our hearts. Once again, I will miss riding the Trek Across Maine WITH Wendy, as I did in 2019, pre-Covid, and before her lung cancer diagnosis.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
