Please support my 2021 Trek Across Maine fundraising efforts, and support the critical mission and work of the American Lung Association, by making a donation by June 30th.
This is my 4th consecutive year participating in the Trek Across Maine. I've ridden 500 miles so far this season, and intend to exceed the 1,000 mile mark again this year.
My Father died of lung cancer at the age of 39. Last year I turned 60, and rode my bike 1,600 miles. I am blessed to be in good health and have the opportunity to spend time getting exercise and fresh air while, at the same time, directly supporting the efforts of the American Lung Association.
For the second consecutive year, the 2021 Trek is being conducted as a "virtual event". I expect that the 2022 Trek will return to its traditional 3 day Father's Day weekend live event, allowing participants to enjoy the wonderful experience of over 1,000 riders pedalling together in support of a worthy cause.
I recognize the past year has been stressful and challenging for almost everyone, in a variety of ways -- including creating financial hardship for many. Over the course of the past three years I have been able to raise over $12,000 in support of the American Lung Association, through my participation in the Trek Across Maine. I will be most grateful for any contributions you may be able to make to support the important work of the American Lung Association.
Thank you in advance for whatever support you may be able to provide, and stay healthy and safe!
