Dear Friends and Family,
I am joining hundreds of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, Covid, Asthma and Emphysema is now the leading cause of the death in the United States.
Last year I was able to raise over $5600 and I hope to do it again for 2024 charity event. This past year was also quite special, as I am coming back from Sacroiliitis and Fusion of my Sacroiliac joint to my Sacrum. It was a painful condition and thankfully the surgery was a total success. I honestly had my doubts that I would ever be able to participate in multi day big milage events like this one. It was a very difficult road back to where I am now - back in the saddle and riding like my old self again. The first big test was the American Lung Event in Maine and I exceeded my expectations. I was eager to ride and faster than expected raising my mph and, as the younger riders say - crushing it. So, I am really back and can't wait to get to the Cape and cap off the cycling season with three great rides for this wonderful charity.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
Sincerly,
Michael Bryant
