Greetings,

I am back again for my 15th year doing my part to raise money for the American Lung Association's efforts to promote lung health, conduct related research and most recently launch the ALA's $25 Million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. In its first year, the ALA has raised $6.5M+ of its $25M commitment to end COVID-19. Funds were allocated for immediate impact and long-term health outcomes: Research, education and partnering with community organizations.

I do my part each year by riding in the Trek Across Maine, ALA’s largest annual fundraiser. The 2020 and 2021 Treks were virtual to comply with guidelines from the CDC and local government officials, and to put the health and well-being of our community first and foremost. I am more than excited to inform you that the 2022 event will be LIVE!

As in the past, I will make my own personal donation and I am asking you to donate to this worthy cause as well. 

Please give this request serious consideration, and if you are not in a position to donate this year, please just send me wishes for “good luck” in my riding and fundraising. You can also register yourself to ride or volunteer for the 2022 Trek Across Maine.
