A friend of mine, Ken Begasse, never smoked, but he along with so many other people suffered from diseases of the lungs. Kenny died from lung cancer, due to passive emissions; second hand smoke. The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
Another friend of mine has lymphoma. He states; "The new drugs coming to market are amazing advances in the cancer war. Lots of out of the box thinking applied to making a difference in the lives of millions of people._" Continuing research against deadly diseases is vitally important!
I have committed to join many other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across Maine while raising money to support the fight against lung cancer, COPD, Asthma and other serious lung diseases. Among my goals is to increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Please join me in taking a small step to make a difference in lung disease by making a tax-deductible donation.
Every donation, regardless of amount is important. You can click on my link below and make your donation online, or mail a check for the American Lung Association to me. Email me if you need my address.
Thank you sincerely,
