The American Lung Association has adjusted plans for the 2020 Cycle the Seacoast for the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and partners. We will not be having a physical event on May 3rd, but we will host a virtual Cycle the Seacoast from now through June 30th.
I will be participating in the 11th Annual Cycle the Seacoast virtual event from May 1 through June 30 by cycling 1,000 miles individually, while raising money to support the fight against COVID-19, lung cancer, COPD, asthma, and other serious lung diseases. Among my goals is to increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Your donation to Cycle the Seacoast will support COVID-19 research. ALA researcher Dr. John Schoggins, Ph.D., was recently credited with identifying a naturally occurring protein that has been shown to inhibit coronavirus infection.
Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of both men and women today and lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the United States. Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation. Ask your HR Department about matching gifts and see your donation double in support of my efforts and the mission of the American Lung Association.
Thank you in advance for your support!!
