In this year of 2020 we are admist some crazy times and now more than ever shows how important the American Lung Association is, we are making some important contributions in combatting COVID-19 and for lung health. Through all of this your donations are crucial and have such an amazing impact in making it all happen. The Cycle the Seacoast event is just one way this is carried out and is what carried me through tough moments of missing my Dad, it gave me a purpose and a mission to do what I could to make a difference in his absence. Although we can't have our actual Cycle The Seacoast event as a result of COVID-19 this will not stop me from making my 50 mile ride in my Dad's honor. I've been accustomed to having a huge support network meeting me at the finish line, that will not be the case this year but what keeps me pedaling is remembering the sparkle in my Dad's eyes, the laughter in his voice and the love and genuine interest he had for every person that crossed his path. He lives on everyday in my heart and the vivid memories that flow through my mind. Maybe you knew my Dad, maybe you didn't but I'd like to think you see a little of him in all the good things that surround us. Your support means more than you know and although I ride alone, I can't do this without your help, any small contribution you can make I appreciate more than you know and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here's to you Dad, my Hero.
