I am joining hundreds of others in support of the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. I'll be cycling 100 miles between now and June 30th in support of the American Lung Assocaition.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a lung infection. And we are working to minimize the risk to all, especially those with a lung disease like asthma, COPD or lung cancer—who are at higher risk for more severe symptoms or complications from COVID-19.
Will you be part of the solution? Your donation to the American Lung Association will support critical lung health research and valuable information and resources amid the #COVID19 #pandemic. Join us in accelerating the progress we’ve already made, including a breakthrough discovery that could inform coronavirus treatment strategies and help us fund additional groundbreaking research that can help mitigate COVID-19.
During these times of uncertainty, we will continue to share science-based information and tested public health measures that work. Visit Lung.org/covid19 for daily updates, answers to frequently asked questions and fact-based advice to help protect yourself and your family.
As always, our Lung HelpLine is available for one-on-one support for your COVID-19 and lung health questions. Call 1-800-LUNGUSA or submit a question online: Lung.org/helpline
As America’s champion of lung health, our top priority is the health and well-being of all, and we thank you for your support.
